Consumers also are less likely to be penalized for any single deliquency if it occurred two or more years ago. CALL ME SO WE CAN CHECK WITH THE LENDER I USE!!

Also, from RECON : Texas tops U.S. in houseing affordability. Texas continues to maintain its place as the most affordable high-growth state in the country.

JOBS:
1) Express SA - For the second consecutive quarter San Antonio was the top-rated city in a national survey gauging hiring prospects for finance and accounting professionals.

2) From SABJ - Construction now underway at local military bases is at a peak level, and during the next few weeks, as many as 2200 construction workers will be employed!

July MLS statistics:

• Average "sold" price is $186,635
• Average "pending" price is $174,965
• Average "listing" price is $284,168
• 62% of all sales were in less than 90 days!
• FHA financing and Conventional financing tied for same percentage of loans - both at 33%
