According to the July 2009 Multiple Listing Service report by SABOR, the number of sales for July was 9% higher at 1,980 than in July 2008.
One year ago the number of sales in San Antonio was 1,823.
The median price also increased 2% to $158,300. In July a year ago the median SA sales
price was $155,200.
Pending sales remain strong in the San Antonio market at 1,675, and active listings are
stable at 11,868.
"We are not seeing an oversupply of inventory at this time," said Travis Kessler, CEO of the San Antonio Board of REALTORS. "This helps to keep our market stable and allows room for our
(San Antonio) market to strengthen.
